Intentional YouTube

Stop scrolling. Start watching with intention. Evidence-Based Digital Well-Being. Intentional YouTube adds a brief, calming pause before your YouTube session starts — asking what you're here to watch and how you're feeling. No judgment, no guilt-tripping. Just a moment to check in with yourself before the algorithm takes over. How it works: Go to YouTube.Com — a short intention screen appears - Name what you're here for and how you're feeling right now - Set an optional session timer - Watch with awareness, not autopilot Why it helps: Naming your intention and your emotional state — even briefly — interrupts the autopilot scroll-and-forget loop. You stay the one deciding how you spend your time on YouTube, instead of the feed deciding for you. Privacy first Your answers are never stored or sent anywhere.
