ABOUT _________________________________________________________ Inbox Reborn theme for Gmail™ is an extension created by multiple developers all over the world wanting to bring back the look and feel of Google Inbox. This extension was created to keep those amazing features alive through simplistic code to beautify Gmail™. VERSION 2.2.0 _________________________________________________________ The current version of Inbox Reborn is listed in the Chrome Extensions page after installation. We regularly release updates to improve stability, add features, and maintain compatibility with Gmail™. • Standalone dark mode — works with any Gmail™ theme, no Gmail dark theme required; just flip the toggle in options • Refreshed dark theme: softer thread list, readable menus and compose controls, muted avatar colors • Replaced Gmail's toolbar and hover icons with crisp Material Symbols in both themes • Compatibility fixes for Gmail's mid-2026 redesign (sidebar icons, reply buttons, menus, side panel) • Fixed rows shaking on hover when certain other Gmail™ extensions are installed • Options apply instantly — no more manual page refresh EMAIL BUNDLING TIPS _________________________________________________________ Please note: bundling only works with emails that are in your Inbox. Messages that are archived, or that skip the Inbox via a filter, will not appear in a bundle — a label shows up as a bundle only while it has messages sitting in the Inbox. Disable inbox category tabs: • Settings Dropdown/Configure Inbox -> Leave only Primary ticked -> Save Allow default category labels (Promotions, Social, Updates, Forums) to be bundled: • Settings/Labels/Categories/Show in message List -> Click Show for each category If you'd like a specific label not to be bundled, create a label called 'Unbundled', and nest that label within it. RECOMMENDED GMAIL™ SETTINGS _________________________________________________________ Using these settings will more closely replicate the visual style of Inbox: • Settings → Inbox → Categories: Leave only Primary ticked • Settings → Inbox → Inbox Type: Default or Starred First • Settings → Advanced → Multiple Inbox: Disabled • Settings → Advanced → Preview Pane: Disabled • Settings → General → Maximum Page Size: Show 100 conversations per page • Settings → General → Personal level indicators: No indicators • Settings → Inbox → Importance markers: No markers • For bundling: keep filters set to "Apply label" without "Skip the Inbox," so bundled emails stay in your Inbox PRIVACY POLICY _________________________________________________________ Inbox Reborn theme for Gmail™ has no ads, no analytics, no trackers, no cookies, and does not send or receive personal information from this extension.
