The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About ImageSnip — Image Audit & Export

Open any page, click once, and a full-screen panel shows every image on it, large enough to actually look at, sorted heaviest first. ImageSnip reads what the browser actually downloaded, not what the markup claims, so the numbers match what your visitors really paid for. Each image shows its transfer size, its intrinsic dimensions against the size it's displayed at, its format, and its alt text. It flags the four things that quietly cost you: - Oversized — a 2400px file rendered in a 600px box. ImageSnip tells you how many kilobytes you'd get back by resizing it. - Heavy — anything over 200 KB, ranked so the worst offender is at the top. - Missing alt text — separated into no attribute at all versus a deliberately empty one, because those mean different things. - Legacy format — JPEGs and PNGs that would be smaller as WebP or AVIF. Filter to just the problems, click any image to see it full size with all its numbers beside it, or hit "Find on page" to jump straight to that element in the page. Save any image with one click, or select several and export them together with tidy numbered filenames. Export the whole audit as a CSV for your build notes or a client report. Three thumbnail sizes, so you can scan a hundred images quickly or inspect a handful closely. Built to stay out of your way. ImageSnip has no standing access to your browsing. It reads a page only when you click the icon, and only that page. No analytics, no telemetry, no account required to use the audit. Free forever: unlimited auditing on every page, and unlimited image saving — single or in bulk. Three audit CSV exports a month. Pro, $12/year: unlimited audit CSV exports. Made by AmericanPlugins, alongside WP Inspector.
