IDmelon WebLogin

IDmelon WebLogin turns the ID card or badge you already carry into your key to the web: it creates and uses passkeys, fills in saved passwords, and signs people in and out of shared computers automatically. PASSKEYS • Create and sign in with passkeys on websites that support them. When a site asks for a passkey, tap your card and enter your PIN if prompted. • Phishing-resistant sign-in built on the FIDO2 and WebAuthn standards. • Your passkeys follow your card, not your device: sign in from any computer that has WebLogin and a card reader. • Works with cards and fingerprint security keys. PASSWORD AUTOFILL • Tap your card on a login page and WebLogin fills in your username and password. • More than one account for a site? Pick the one you want from a list. • Save a new login the first time you sign in to a site, and update it when you change the password. • Passwords you save through WebLogin are encrypted with a secret from your security key and released only after you tap your card. • Choose where the autofill prompt appears with lists of included and excluded websites. WORKFLOW AUTOMATION FOR SHARED COMPUTERS • Set up a browser so each person signs in, and back out, with a single tap of their badge. Made for frontline teams, shared workstations and kiosks. • Signs in to Microsoft 365 end to end, including the prompts that follow sign-in, on English, German and Spanish sign-in pages. • Tap again to sign out: the private window closes, so the next person starts with a clean session. • Chain several websites in one run and mix sign-in methods: passkey, password or MSAL. • Run in the current tab, a new tab or a private window, and guide users with a pinned tap page or an on-page prompt. • Configure it in WebLogin's options, from the command line, or through your MDM. BUILT FOR IT TEAMS • Push settings and automation configuration through MDM or Chrome enterprise policies. • Connect to the IDmelon cloud or to your organization's on-premise server. • No driver needed with keyboard wedge readers: the reader types the badge ID as keyboard input and WebLogin reads it directly. Use it on any computer without the reader driver, from locked-down PCs and thin clients to remote desktops. (Keystroking setting, on by default.) • On-screen number pad for entering the PIN on touchscreens. • Download activity logs as CSV for troubleshooting. WHAT YOU NEED • An IDmelon account with your card set up as a security key. Manage it at https://panel.idmelon.com • A compatible card reader. • Windows, macOS or Linux: the latest IDmelon Card Reader Driver (v3.0.0 or later) from https://idmelon.com/docs/downloads • ChromeOS: the Smart Card Connector app from the Chrome Web Store. • Or skip the driver: a keyboard wedge reader works on any of these systems. • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. For automation in private windows, turn on "Allow in Incognito" for WebLogin.
