Homeo makes your new tab a personal launchpad for the web. Keep frequently used websites in an icon grid, search with the engines you choose, and shape the page to match your screen and style. • Add, edit and drag website shortcuts to arrange them. • Choose built-in search engines or add your own. • Customize backgrounds, icon sizes, spacing, corners, and title fonts and colors. • Select sites from browsing history for batch import. • Export your configuration to a file; merge or overwrite when importing. New in 2.0: Chrome cloud sync Shortcut titles, URLs and ordering, plus custom search engine definitions, enabled lists and ordering, can sync through Google Chrome Sync between devices using the same Chrome account with the relevant sync enabled. Appearance, images, interface language and search box preferences stay on each device. Existing users’ shortcut and search data is submitted automatically after upgrading and opening Homeo. No separate Homeo account is required. Chrome handles offline syncing and conflicts; delivery may be delayed, and simultaneous changes can overwrite one another. File exports provide an independent backup. Privacy Browsing history is read only when you request batch import, and the raw history is processed locally. Shortcuts you select for import become part of your saved and syncable website list. Website icons may be fetched from their sites; Google’s favicon service may receive a site’s domain as a fallback.
