The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Holdfast: Pomodoro Timer & Website Blocker
Holdfast is a focus timer and website blocker that actually holds the line.
Start a Pomodoro or a stopwatch, and the sites that pull you away stop
loading until your break. No sign-up, no dashboard, no subscription to
read your own data. Everything runs on your machine.
WHAT IT DOES
• Pomodoro with configurable focus, break, long-break and set count
• Stopwatch mode when you don't want a countdown
• Blocks your chosen sites only while a session is running
• A calm block page that shows how long is left, instead of a browser error
• Remaining minutes on the toolbar icon, so you can close the popup
• Today / this-week focus totals
PRO ($2.99/month)
• Unlimited blocked sites (5 on the free plan)
• Category presets — social, entertainment, news, shopping, games
• Schedule — block automatically during set hours, session or not
• Strict mode — you cannot end a session or edit the list mid-focus
• History — daily focus time and session count
• One licence covers 3 devices
PRIVACY
Holdfast has no server. Your blocklist and settings live in Chrome's
own sync storage; your focus stats never leave your machine. We do not
collect, transmit or sell anything. The only network request the extension
ever makes is to verify a Pro licence key, and only if you bought one.
The extension asks for site access only when you add a site to your
blocklist, so it can show its own block page there instead of a browser
error. Decline and blocking still works — you just get Chrome's default
blocked screen.
