About Hikari
Meet your new AI recruiter.
No. You're the recruiter. Hikari reads the CVs.
Monday, 9am. A role lands, and so do fifty CVs. You will read the first twelve
properly, skim to thirty, and make a judgement about the rest you would not defend out loud. Everyone does. There isn't time not to.
Hikari reads all fifty against the brief and puts them in order, with the evidence
behind every score. About twenty seconds — that is the proof, not the point. The
point is that the quiet, strong candidate on page four comes up with the reason
attached, and you spend the morning on the calls instead of the pile.
It sits beside the system you already use. Nothing to integrate, nothing for IT to
build, no migration, no procurement. Open a vacancy, click the icon, drop in the CVs.
IT REJECTS NOBODY
Everyone stays on the list. You just start at the top, and you draw the line — top
ten, top twenty, or a score you won't go below. Nothing is filtered out behind your
back and nobody is auto-declined. It informs a decision. You make it.
IT ISN'T SEARCHING FOR WORDS
Keyword matching is why good people get missed. Hikari reads what somebody actually did. Every requirement in the brief comes back marked evidenced, partly, or not on the CV — with the line from their CV that earned it, in their own words. You can see exactly why a score is what it is, and argue with it.
THINK IT GOT ONE WRONG? SAY SO
Every tool in this category says it learns. Most mean it remembered your last search. Correct a score and tell it why. Do that three times on the same kind of judgement and it starts scoring that way — and shows you what changed. You can see the working.
YOU KNOW THINGS THE SPEC DOESN'T
That this client only ever takes operator-side people. That they will flex on the
years for the right person. That the last three they turned down were all from the
same kind of firm. None of that is written down anywhere.
Type it into the job's notes and press re-rank. All fifty are scored again against
what you know, not just what was written down, and people move. The one who was ninth is third, with the evidence for why.
WHAT YOUR CLIENT HAS ACTUALLY DONE
Record what the client says — shortlisted, passed — and Hikari keeps it. The lowest score they have ever progressed. The most they have paid. Their usual reason for saying no, and how often. You see it before you send, not after.
It also keeps score on itself. Where you and Hikari disagreed, and who the client
proved right. Two hires you would have missed. One you would have chased for nothing.
Nothing is estimated, and it is private to your account.
THE CALL, WITHOUT THE TYPING
Hikari writes the screening questions from the gaps in that CV against that brief not a template. You choose which to ask. Take the call, then drop the transcript in,
and the answers land against the right questions. Or type them live. Either works.
THE REPORT WRITES ITSELF
Your client gets their requirements answered line by line, in the candidate's own
words, with contact details removed. No scores — your client never sees one. No sales adjectives. In your agency's branding, not ours: your logo, your colours, your name on it.
Evidence is hard to say no to.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• It never sends anything on its own and never rejects anyone.
• It is not another ATS. No pipeline, no scheduling. When the client says yes, you
carry on in your own system.
• It does not read pages by itself. Only the page you click the icon on, and only its
text. It never asks to read all websites and never changes anything on the page.
Ranking CVs stopped being hard a while ago. Underneath, it is Mistral's AI, tuned by recruiters who have done the job. What happens after the ranking is the difference.
Built by recruiters from big-tech and agency desks, who got tired of reading the
eightieth CV on a Monday.
YOUR DATA
CVs are stored in the EU (Amsterdam) and assessed against your job description by Mistral AI, which processes in the EU. Screening questions, call summaries and client reports are written by OpenAI in the United States; OpenAI's API does not use that data to train its models. Hikari deletes them automatically after 90 days, and no one at Hikari AI reads them unless you ask us to. A call transcript you add is used only to pick out the answers, and is not kept.
