HBLAB Shorten

HBLAB Shorten turns the page you are on into an hblab.me short link in one click. It is the browser companion to hblab.me, HBLAB's internal link shortener. HOW IT WORKS Click the HBL Shorten icon in the toolbar. The extension creates a short link for the current tab and shows it right away, ready to copy. Open the same page again later and you get the same link, with no duplicates. FEATURES • One-click shortening: get an hblab.me link for any http/https page • Copy instantly: one button puts the short link on your clipboard • Custom alias: replace the random code with something readable, such as hblab.me/techtalk-oct • Branded QR code: the same QR with the HBL logo as on hblab.me, which you can download as a PNG for slides, posters and printouts • Remembers your links: links you have already created are shown again instantly, without calling the server GETTING STARTED 1. Sign in to hblab.me with your @hblab.vn Google account and copy your personal API token. 2. Open the extension's settings and paste the token. 3. Click the toolbar icon on any page to shorten it. PRIVACY The extension reads the URL of the current tab only when you click its icon, and sends it only to hblab.me to create the short link. Your API token is stored only in this browser. There is no analytics, tracking or advertising. Note: Creating links requires an HBLAB account (@hblab.vn). Anyone can open the short links you share.
