The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About GS Speed dial
GS Speed dial turns a new tab into a visual launcher built from your own Chrome bookmarks — no separate list to maintain, no account to create. Pick one Bookmarks folder and every link and sub-folder inside it becomes a tile you can click, move, and organize, right where your browser already keeps them.
**Why install it**
If you've outgrown the plain bookmarks bar but don't want a New Tab extension that tracks you, phones home, or tries to upsell a "premium" tier, this is built to just be a fast, private dial:
• Your bookmarks stay the source of truth. Add, rename, move, or delete a tile here and it updates the real bookmark — nothing is duplicated or locked into the extension.
• Nested folders work the way you'd expect, with breadcrumb navigation to drill in and back out, and a "Batch Edit" mode to multi-select tiles for a move or delete.
• Full visual control: three tile sizes, square/rectangle/circle shapes, adjustable columns, and a compact "Bubble" style for folders that just shows the name as a tag.
• Custom backgrounds — solid color, gradient, a single image, or a folder of images that rotates on a schedule you set.
• Sticky notes you can drag anywhere on the page for reminders, to-do lists, or quick notes — separate from your bookmarks, saved locally.
• Optional settings sync via your existing Chrome Sync account — no separate login.
Everything runs locally in your browser. There's no analytics, no ads, and no external server — see the linked privacy policy for the full breakdown of exactly what the extension reads and stores.
