Most people judge a Facebook group by its member count. That number tells you almost nothing. A 900-member local group routinely produces more work than a 50,000-member national one. Group Scout reads the group page you already have open and tells you what actually decides whether it is worth your time: • Posts a day, worked out from the timestamps on screen • How many posts are questions rather than announcements • Whether anyone is answering them • How many carry real buying intent • Roughly how many buying posts the group produces in a month It refuses to guess. If the posts on screen only span twenty minutes, it says so and asks you to scroll further, because a tight cluster of posts says nothing about the day.
