The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About GrayMode
Stop doom-scrolling. Start focusing.
GrayMode removes color from distracting websites, making them boring enough to leave. When social media loses its visual appeal, you naturally spend less time scrolling and more time working.
How it works
Bright colors trigger dopamine and keep you hooked.
GrayMode applies a grayscale filter to the sites you choose, reducing visual stimulation and helping you break the endless scroll loop.
Features
• Global toggle — enable/disable with one click
• Preset categories — Social Media, Video, News, Messengers
• Custom blacklist — add your own distracting sites
• Adjustable intensity — from 50% to 100% grayscale
• Zero setup — works immediately after install
Why grayscale?
Research suggests that removing color from interfaces reduces compulsive usage.
Tech companies spend millions making apps colorful and engaging — GrayMode fights back by stripping away the visual "hooks".
