Gnome-Kan-Do

**Cultivate Focus, Harvest Productivity.** Gnome-Kan-Do transforms your dull task management into a vibrant, pixel-art garden. Designed for developers, designers, and digital nomads who need to stay on track without distractions, this extension brings fun and accountability to your workflow. **🌿 Kanban with a Twist** Organize your tasks into "Sprouting" (To-Do), "Growing" (In Progress), and "Harvested" (Done). But be careful! If you pile up too many tasks in your "Growing" column, the Garden Gnome will get angry, and your screen might just fight back. **🍄 Visual Accountability** - **WIP Penalties:** Exceeding your Work-In-Progress limit triggers visual warnings—from shaking screens to an increasingly irate gnome. - **Stale Task Indicators:** Tasks left unattended for too long will start to gather mushrooms and vines, reminding you to tend to your garden. **🔒 Privacy-First Design** Gnome-Kan-Do is a **Local-First** application. - **Zero Data Collection:** We don't track you. Period. - **Offline Capable:** Works perfectly without an internet connection. - **Your Data is Yours:** All tasks and settings are stored locally on your device using `chrome.storage.local`. **Additional Features:** - **Context Menu Integration:** Highlight text on any webpage and right-click to "Plant Task" directly into your board. - **Source Tracing:** Tasks created from the web automatically link back to their source URL. - **Pixel-Perfect Aesthetic:** Enjoy a retro 8-bit garden theme that makes organizing fun. **Who is this for?** Perfect for anyone who loves pixel art, gamification, and keeping their data private while getting things done.
