The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Glowmark - Web & PDF Highlighter
Glowmark is a fast, private highlighter for the web and PDFs.
Select text on any page and pick a colour. Your highlights come back every time you revisit the page, even after the site changes its layout. Click a highlight to add a note, change its colour or delete it. The side panel lists every highlight on the page - click one to jump to it, or copy them all as Markdown for Obsidian, Notion or your notes app.
Private by design: everything is stored in your browser. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking.
