Get Styles — themes for VK

Get Styles changes the look of vk.com and vk.ru: install ready-made themes from the catalogues, design your own in the theme wizard, and use a VK video as your page background. THEME WIZARD — NO CSS NEEDED Build a theme step by step: choose a template and style, set up the background, pick block and text colours, then save and apply. The preview on the right shows how VK will look as you go. • Two templates: translucent blurred blocks over your background, or classic solid blocks. • Ready-made light and dark styles for a quick start — change anything afterwards. • Background from your own image file or link, a gradient or a solid colour. No image at hand? Pick a ready-made example from the list. • Block, text and accent colours, opacity, blur and corner radius. • Readability guard: the wizard checks text contrast on the blocks, warns you when text will be hard to read and fixes the text colour in one click. A white-on-white theme cannot be saved. • Reopen any wizard theme later and change it — its settings are saved with the theme. Advanced users can add custom CSS. • Templates update automatically: if VK changes its layout, wizard themes are rebuilt with your settings. VK VIDEO BACKGROUNDS Paste a VK video link or pick an example to use the video as your page background. Adjust zoom and dimming. On VK, a separate button turns the sound on or off, and you can drag it to any corner. The video must allow embedding. Some videos need the link from “Share → Export”. Private or restricted videos may be unavailable. Video backgrounds are disabled when your system's reduced-motion setting is on. READY-MADE THEMES AND YOUR LIBRARY • Open the get-styles.ru and get-styles.pro catalogues straight from the theme manager — pick a theme and click Apply. • Keep several themes and switch between them in one click. • Import, edit and export your own CSS themes. • Delete themes one by one or all at once. • Turn a theme off in the popup, in the theme manager, or with “Remove theme” in VK's menu. • Optionally show your theme on vkvideo.ru too (off by default). • Interface in Russian and English. HOW TO START 1. Install Get Styles and open vk.com or vk.ru. 2. Ready-made theme: open the theme manager → Add a theme → From a catalog, and pick a theme on the site. 3. Your own theme: Add a theme → With the wizard. 4. Set up the background and colours, optionally add a video background, and click Save and apply. Themes change what you see in your own browser only — other people see your profile as usual. Get Styles is an independent extension, not an official VK product. It styles pages; it does not download videos or reveal profile visitors. PRIVACY Themes, images and settings are stored locally in your browser and are not synced through your Chrome account. The extension does not collect VK messages, contacts or passwords and has no analytics. Installing a theme contacts the catalogue; loading an image by link or an example contacts that image's site (with your permission); a video background loads VK's video player.
