About Get Done
Make homework feel more rewarding with pictures you choose, or that your friends send you.
Get Done keeps a picture panel sealed while you work. After the homework page marks a question complete and you move to the next question, the next image on your list appears as a small reward.
How it works:
- Paste one direct image link per line, in the order you want to see them.
- Open your homework and complete a question.
- Move to the next question to reveal the next picture.
New in 1.2: a question only counts after real clicks or typing on it and a short time on the page, so scripted clicks do nothing. On sites with random question numbers, Get Done also recognizes a question by its own text. If a site can't be tracked, "Mark done by hand" in the panel is a limited fallback (real click, 30 second wait). This does not make cheating impossible, it just makes the easy shortcuts not work.
Friend links (optional): make a link for an assignment, paste that assignment's page link, and share it. Friends can add pictures to your deck. Those pictures unlock only on that assignment's page, in random order as you finish questions. The link stops accepting pictures at the due time you set, and you can delete any unlocked picture from the popup. A companion phone page at getdone.prajvalarora.com makes and shares the link; it never shows pictures.
Drag or resize the panel, dock it on the left or right, or hide it with Ctrl+Shift+Period (Command+Shift+Period on Mac). Start over when you want a fresh session.
Get Done looks for question labels and completion signals on homework sites, including Canvas, Pearson MyLab and Edfinity. Compatibility depends on the site's page layout; not every assignment or page is guaranteed to be detected.
Your picture list, reward progress and panel settings are stored locally in your browser. If you never create a friend link, nothing is sent to us. Friend links use a small server run by the developer, which stores only the link settings and the pictures (plus an optional first name and note) that friends upload. The assignment link you paste stays in your browser (and on your phone page if you use it) and is not sent to the server. There is no analytics. Images from links you paste are loaded directly from their host. Get Done does not solve questions or submit answers for you.
