FydeRhythm IME

A redesigned Asian languages (CJK) Input Method Editor(IME) extension for chromeOS and your Chromebook, based on RIME, fully open source. Each pack can be enabled separately, and imports report the entry count along with any duplicates merged away. - Schema Switch Shortcut: Ctrl+` by default, cycling through your enabled schemas. Tests indicate that the current version (Q4 2025) of ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex can still use the FydeRhythm input method, and the description of the chrome.input.ime API at https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/api/input/ime has not mentioned deprecation. It is important to note that the FydeRhythm input method can only be used as a keyboard input tool in desktop mode on ChromeOS / ChromeOS Flex; it cannot invoke the on-screen soft keyboard input in tablet mode.
