Full Page Screenshot & Mac Screenshot Markup - Shotbox

Capture a whole web page, or mark up a screenshot you took on your Mac. Add arrows, boxes, text and blur, then save or copy it right away. ■ What it's for ・Research and documents (box the part that matters, paste it into docs or chat) ・Design reviews (point out fixes right on the screen) ・Bug reports (arrows and notes on the screen; blur personal information) ・How-to guides (number the steps for manuals and handovers) ・Page records (keep long pages at full size) ■ Ways to capture (click the toolbar icon or press Control + Shift + S) ・Visible area ・Select an area (push the box to the bottom edge to scroll and extend it) ・Full page (one image) ・Full page, split into images (long pages at full size, in several images) ・Open clipboard image (mark up screenshots taken on your Mac, too) ■ Markup Arrow, double arrow, dashed arrow, block arrow, line, rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, triangle, pen, text and blur. Shapes can be filled (choose a color, solid or translucent). Select, move, duplicate, resize, undo and redo. Crop and rotate (90° steps or fine-tune the angle). Your markup moves with the image. ■ Output ・Copy (every capture is copied to the clipboard right away, except split captures) ・Save as PNG (choose where to save each time; file names are set automatically as "date_site_page title") ・Save as PDF (long images flow onto A4 pages) ・Save both PNG and PDF from the Save menu ・Split images can be saved together as one ZIP ・URL and capture time (optionally add the page URL and capture time above the image; in PDFs the URL is a clickable link) ・Share (the Mac share menu: AirDrop, Messages and more) ■ What it can't do ・It can't capture outside Chrome (Finder or other apps) ・It can't capture tabs that are not in front (if you switch tabs during a capture, it pauses and continues when you come back) ・It doesn't capture horizontal scrolling ・It can't capture pages Chrome doesn't allow, such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store ■ Privacy Capturing, markup and saving all happen on your computer. Your captures, page contents and browsing history are never sent to the developer or anyone else. It doesn't ask for access to all websites; it only works on the tab you choose to capture. ■ Language The screens are in English, or Japanese when Chrome is set to Japanese. ■ About the "PR" section Below the editor, Shotbox shows an app made by the developer, marked "PR". These images and links are included in the extension, and nothing is loaded from outside to show them. The App Store or Google Play opens only when you click a link. ■ Support Shotbox is a free tool. There is no warranty, and individual support requests are not handled.
