The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About FreeLipSync — AI Lip Sync from Any Page
Send a photo, a video frame, or an audio file from the page you are on straight to FreeLipSync, and make it talk and sing with AI lip sync. No saving it yourself, no uploading it again on the other side.
THREE WAYS TO SEND SOMETHING
• Right-click a photo, a video, or an audio player and pick the FreeLipSync entry.
• Click the toolbar button to take a frame from the video playing on the page. This works even where a site blocks the right-click menu, as YouTube does.
• Press the keyboard shortcut for the same thing without reaching for the mouse. Set your own key at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Whatever you send opens in FreeLipSync already loaded, ready for a voice or your own audio.
WHAT YOU CAN SEND
• Photos — JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF.
• Video — the current frame, as a photo. This works on streamed video, including YouTube, where the video file itself has no address to fetch.
• Audio — MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and others, where the page links the file directly.
WHAT IT WILL NOT DO
• DRM-protected video, such as Netflix or Disney+, is not readable by any extension. Frames from it are not available.
• Media that only loads once you are signed in is out of scope. The extension never sends your cookies to a third-party site.
• It is not a downloader. It hands one asset to FreeLipSync and never writes a file to your downloads.
USING IT RESPONSIBLY
FreeLipSync makes a real face appear to speak. Only send material you have the right to use, and where a real person appears in it, you need their permission. A photo being public, or the person being well known, is not permission. The extension asks you to acknowledge this once, before it will send anything at all.
PRIVACY
No account, no tracking, no analytics. The extension keeps two things in your browser and nothing anywhere else: your acknowledgement of the rules above, and a single-use token that connects the asset you picked to the tab being opened for it, deleted the moment it is delivered.
It holds no standing access to any site. Permission to read a site is requested at the moment you choose media there, and only for that site.
