The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About FreeFollowers

FreeFollowers makes the invisible visible. Every website you visit silently contacts dozens of advertising networks, analytics companies and social media trackers. FreeFollowers intercepts these connections in real time and visualises them as a live force-directed graph. HOW IT WORKS - Watches network requests as you browse - Builds a graph: sites you visited → trackers they contacted - Updates live every few seconds - Hover any node to see the company and what they do with your data - Hover any connection to see which cookies are being shared PRIVACY FIRST - Cookie values are never read or sent anywhere - Only domain names are transmitted to our server - No accounts, no registration, no personal data collected - Session data deleted automatically after 2 hours - Server runs in Germany under strict GDPR rules - Fully open source: github.com/DonVermicello/FreeFollowers Works on Chrome and all Chromium-based browsers.
