About Free OpenVPN Server Finder

This tool discovers and downloads free OpenVPN servers (download the OVPN configuration file for you). The extension is built on the VPNGate experimental project, which serves as an academic research service from the Graduate School of the University of Tsukuba, Japan. The project aims to enhance awareness of "Global Distributed Public VPN Relay Servers". Once installed, open the panel and allow a few seconds for the VPN list to update. Then, you can select a suitable server and press the "download" button to obtain the OVPN config file. Notable features: 1. Overcome government firewalls to access restricted websites. 2. Conceal your IP address, safeguarding your identity during Internet browsing. 3. Ensure protection with strong encryption while using public Wi-Fi. 4. You can now batch download multiple VPN profiles in a ZIP archive format For reporting bugs, please visit: https://github.com/andy-portmen/ovfinder For more information, please visit: http://www.vpngate.net/en/about_overview.aspx Please be aware that this extension is a simple wrapper built on top of VPN Gate's public API. It has nothing to do with the project itself.
