The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Force Navigator Reloaded for Salesforce
Navigate Salesforce Setup, Object Manager, flows, permissions, users, and records from one keyboard-first command palette.
Force Navigator Reloaded for Salesforce helps admins and developers reach the right Lightning page without digging through nested menus. Open the command palette, type a few characters, and press Enter.
• Keyboard shortcuts that keep you moving
Press Ctrl + Shift + L on Windows and Linux, or Command + Shift + P on macOS, to open the palette from anywhere in Lightning. Use the arrow keys and Enter to navigate, Esc to close it, or hold Shift, Ctrl, or Command while selecting to open a result in a new tab.
• Smarter search that adapts to you
Find commands with fast, accent-insensitive fuzzy matching that also recognizes words inside CamelCase metadata names. Every matched term is highlighted for easier scanning. Frequently used commands automatically move higher in the results, and positive usage counts make familiar destinations easier to spot.
• Deep Salesforce navigation
Jump directly to Setup pages, Object Manager sections, Custom Metadata Types, SObject list and new-record pages, Flow definitions and versions, Apex classes, SObject-grouped Apex triggers, active Digital Experience Workspaces and Builders, Lightning apps, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, active users, and Login As actions. Launch Web Console directly for the current org when it is available to your Salesforce user. The palette remains available on supported Experience Cloud pages.
• Salesforce global search from the palette
Start with ? followed by a search term to open Salesforce global search results directly—without navigating to the search page first.
• Configurable command sources
Choose which command groups appear in the palette from the extension settings. Keep the defaults or fine-tune Setup, SObject, Flow, Digital Experience, app, permission, user, and Login As commands for your workflow. Apex class and trigger commands are available as opt-in sources for large orgs.
• Built for large orgs
Org metadata is cached for faster repeat access, and virtual scrolling keeps long command lists responsive. Refresh the command list whenever you need the latest metadata.
• Authorize once per org
Run Extension > Authorize from the palette and choose Allow in the Salesforce window. Some orgs require a Salesforce administrator to install the connected app "Force Navigator Reloaded Prod" in Setup > Connected Apps OAuth Usage before users can authorize. If that is the case, the extension explains it in the OAuth window and with a Salesforce toast, and the welcome page provides copyable instructions for your administrator.
• Optional My Domain auto-login
Enable auto-login in Settings to continue through supported Salesforce My Domain login pages for orgs you have already authorised. The feature is off by default and can be disabled at any time.
Force Navigator Reloaded uses Lightning Web Components and the Salesforce Lightning Design System for a familiar, native-feeling experience. Command usage stays in local extension storage and is used only to personalise result order.

A companion Salesforce CLI plugin brings the palette to your terminal. Install it with sf plugins install force-navigator-reloaded and update it with sf plugins update. Run sf navigator open to filter an interactive command palette, choose a destination with the arrow keys, and open it in a selected org using an existing CLI login. The CLI offers all supported navigation categories by default, with flags to include or exclude categories. Aligned command, source, and usage columns make results easier to scan. Loading feedback and optional debug timings help identify slow org requests and cache use.
You can customise the keyboard shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
