The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About FollowCue — Webpage Follow-up Reminders
A client says, "I'll send the revised proposal by Friday." Save that sentence as a reminder, with the webpage it came from.
FollowCue is a free Chrome extension for following up on quotes, applications, approvals, and other things you need to revisit in your browser. Each reminder keeps the selected quote, page title, source link, reminder time, and your optional note together.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Select text on a webpage and right-click "Save to FollowCue".
2. Check the reminder time, add a note if useful, and save.
3. When it is time to follow up, open the reminder and return to the original page.
TRY IT WITH ONE REAL FOLLOW-UP
- A client proposal: save the promised reply date and revisit the proposal.
- A job application: keep the application page attached to your follow-up reminder.
- An approval or renewal: save the relevant text so you know what to check later.
PRIVATE AND LOCAL
No account, ads, tracking, or cloud sync. Reminders stay in your Chrome profile. FollowCue captures text only when you select it and use its context-menu action. It does not read pages in the background, send follow-up messages, or upload your reminders.
FEATURES
- Selected quote, source link, reminder time, and note in one place
- Suggested dates for phrases such as "tomorrow", "next week", "明天", and "下周"; check the suggestion before saving
- Open, due today, overdue, and completed reminder views
- Local desktop notifications
- English and Simplified Chinese interface
BEFORE YOU RELY ON A REMINDER
Keep Chrome running for timely notifications and allow Chrome notifications in your computer settings. This is a local browser reminder, not an email service or a cross-device task manager. The source opens at the saved URL; FollowCue does not automatically jump to or highlight the original sentence.
Free to use. No signup required.
