FocusReader by getfocusreader.com is a local-first Chrome quote saver with a distraction-free reader. Save exact passages with page title, source URL, domain, timestamp, and an optional category, then export your library as clean Markdown. Open FocusReader from the toolbar or press Alt+Shift+R. Mozilla Readability extracts the main article while keeping headings, links, lists, images, and quotes. Choose light, dark, or beige mode, switch between Georgia and Inter, and tune font size and line height for comfortable reading. Highlight any passage, right-click, and choose Save to FocusReader. Your quote library keeps the selected text, page title, URL, domain, timestamp, and an optional category. Search your library, group quotes by domain or category, delete and undo, copy a quote, or export everything as clean Markdown. FocusReader is local-first. Quotes and reading preferences stay in Chrome storage. Article content is processed locally. Only a signed PRO license is sent to FocusReader's server when you activate or revalidate PRO. Free users can save up to 10 quotes. FocusReader PRO unlocks unlimited local saves for a one-time $9.99 total, with applicable taxes included and no subscription.
