Fly-by Comments for YouTube

Inspired by Japanese "Danmaku" (bullet curtain) on Niconico and Chinese “弹幕” on Bilibili, this free extension scans the YouTube comments section for timestamps and automatically animates them across your screen at the time shown. It transforms solo viewing into a shared experience, letting you enjoy the community's best reactions in real-time. Add a timestamp to your own YouTube comments to contribute to the experience! Your comment will be automatically animated across the screen for future viewers at that exact moment. 💡 Pro Tips • Pin the extension to your browser toolbar for quick access to the settings menu. • Press Alt + C (on Windows) or Option + C (on Mac) to instantly toggle comments on or off—super convenient for fullscreen mode! ⚠️ Note The extension relies on regular timestamp comments posted by the community! If you don't see any comments flying by on a particular video, it simply means no one has posted a timestamped comment yet. You can be the first to start the Fly-by trend! 📝 Support & Feedback If you need help, want to report a bug, or have any feedback, please visit our GitHub support page: https://github.com/wasabinono/youtube-flyby-comments-support Have fun! 🪽✨
