About Fluency Calm - Video Call Support
Fluency Calm - Calm Support for Video Calls
Video calls can be stressful, especially if you experience anxiety, stutter, or tend to speak quickly when nervous. Fluency Calm offers two simple tools to help you feel more grounded: a customizable visual pacing circle and gentle breath reminders with encouraging messages.
How it works:
The pacing circle appears at the edge of your screen during Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex calls—only you see it. Adjust the speed (40-120 BPM) to match a comfortable speaking rhythm. Breath reminders appear at intervals you choose (every 15-60 seconds) with messages like "You're doing great" to help you pause and refocus.
Your control, your privacy:
Everything is customizable—circle speed, size, color, reminder frequency, and more. All settings stay on your device. We don't record, listen, track, or collect any data about you or your calls.
The philosophy:
This isn't about changing how you speak or "fixing" you. Your voice and way of speaking are valid. These are just supportive tools some people find helpful during challenging video conversations.
