FlowGuide: Step-by-step Guide Recorder

Do the task once. Get the guide. FlowGuide turns anything you do in Chrome into a clear, step-by-step guide with annotated screenshots. Press record, click through the task like you normally would, and FlowGuide writes the how-to for you. No account, no cloud, no tracking: your guides never leave your computer. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the FlowGuide icon to open the side panel and press Start recording (or Alt+Shift+R). 2. Do the task. Every click, typed field, dropdown choice, new page and tab switch becomes a numbered step with a screenshot. 3. Press Stop, polish the guide in the editor and export it. FEATURES • Auto-capture: steps are written in plain language, like: Click "Invite member" button. • Smart annotations: the element you used is outlined and numbered on each screenshot. • Smart Blur: emails, API keys, tokens, card numbers and password fields are pixelated automatically. Drag to blur anything else. • Passwords are never written into your guide. • Editor: rename steps, add notes, reorder, delete and turn highlights on or off. • Export: a single HTML page, Markdown with images (.zip), PDF, or a JSON backup you can import later. • Guide Me: replay a guide on the live website. FlowGuide highlights each step and moves on as you click. Great for onboarding teammates and customers. • AI rewrite (optional): bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key to polish step titles.
