About FixPin — Website Feedback & Bug Reports
Collect website feedback the easy way: click any element, write what to change — FixPin attaches a screenshot, the exact element and all the technical details. Send everything as one link or one file. No sign-up, no servers of ours, no monthly fee.
Free — for clients, managers, QA testers and freelancers.
★ CLICK — COMMENT — DONE
• Element: hover a block and click it (↑/↓ — parent or child element).
• Area: drag to select any part of the page.
• Write a comment, choose the type (bug, design, text, idea) and priority.
• Numbered pins stay on the page. Browse other pages — notes keep piling up and survive a browser restart.
★ MARK UP THE SCREENSHOT
Arrows, boxes, pen, text and blur for private data — right on the page, before you save the note.
★ ONE LINK OR ONE FILE
• Link via your Google Drive: the report is saved to YOUR Drive and opens in any browser. Send again — the same link shows the latest version.
• The “Send” button on the page panel updates the link in one click and shows how many notes haven’t been sent yet.
• HTML report: one self-contained file with screenshots — opens anywhere, no extension needed.
• You can also save the report as a PDF, export an archive for your task tracker, or copy the notes as text into a chat or a ticket.
★ THE DEVELOPER SEES IT ON THE LIVE SITE
Open the report with FixPin and click “Show on the site”: the exact element is highlighted with the note next to it. Mark notes as done, ask a question, reply — even right inside the HTML file, without the extension.
★ EVERYTHING NEEDED TO FIX IT
• Stable CSS selector of the element + its text as a fallback.
• Steps before the note: last clicks and page changes (what you type is never recorded).
• The window size, browser, system and language are attached too, so the issue can be reproduced.
• Optional: JavaScript console errors and failed requests, and full-height capture of tall elements.
★ 14 LANGUAGES
The interface and reports are available in 14 languages: FixPin follows your browser language, and you can pick another one in the settings.
★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no servers of ours, no analytics. Notes and screenshots stay in your browser; a report goes only where you send it — as a file or to your own Google Drive.
Hotkeys: Alt+Shift+N — note on an element · Alt+Shift+M — note on an area (change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts).
Free and made by an indie developer — DreamSkies (dreamskies.dev).
