About FineTune Physics

What if you could control reality itself? FineTune Physics is an immersive, cinematic physics sandbox that lets you rewrite the fundamental constants of nature — gravity, the speed of light, and Planck's quantum constant — and watch in real time as the universe you're building either blooms into rich complexity or collapses into absolute nothingness. This isn't a textbook. This isn't a lecture. This is an experience. What Is This App? At the heart of all physical reality sit three numbers: G (the gravitational constant), c (the speed of light), and ℏ (Planck's reduced constant). These three values — tuned to astonishing precision — determined everything: why atoms are stable, why stars shine for billions of years, why chemistry is possible, why you exist. FineTune Physics gives you direct control over all three. Drag a slider, and watch the cosmos respond. Make gravity ten times stronger and see stars implode into black holes before they can ignite. Slow the speed of light and watch atomic orbitals bloat until electrons escape. Crank up the quantum scale and observe matter dissolve into a probabilistic fog. Restore our universe's values and marvel at how extraordinarily, improbably fine-tuned reality actually is. Every change propagates instantly across three scales of physical reality — the atomic, the stellar, and the cosmic — each visualized through live, physics-driven canvas animations that respond dynamically to your inputs. Features 🎬 Cinematic Big Bang Intro Every session opens with a dramatic particle-burst sequence — a white flash, expanding shockwave rings, and 300 animated particles erupting outward — before settling into the simulator. It sets the tone: you are about to do something significant. ⚛️ Atomic Scale Simulation Watch hydrogen atoms form, stretch, and dissolve. The animated electron orbital model updates in real time based on your constants. If the Bohr radius collapses, electrons spiral into the nucleus. If quantum effects dominate, matter becomes a diffuse cloud. The stability status — Stable, Marginal, Unstable, Collapsed, Dissolved — updates continuously with clear visual and textual feedback. ☀️ Stellar Scale Simulation See a star rendered live on canvas — with solar flares, a pulsing corona, color shifts from blue-white to deep red based on temperature, and dynamically scaling luminosity. Tune your constants until stars become black holes (complete with accretion disk animation), or reduce gravity until no fusion is possible and the star simply never ignites. 🌌 Cosmic Scale Simulation A miniature solar system orbits a central star in real time. Orbital speeds, period ratios, and Schwarzschild radii all respond to your constant choices. Push gravity too high and planets spiral inward. Drop it too low and they drift apart into an empty void. 💓 Universe Vitals Monitor A hospital-style diagnostic panel shows four live indicators — Life Potential, Star Health, Atom Stability, and Cosmic Age — alongside an animated ECG heartbeat line. When your universe is dying, the heartbeat goes erratic. When it flatlines, you've created a dead universe. ⚠️ Consequence Alerts Dramatic full-width alerts fire when critical thresholds are crossed: "No atoms can exist. Matter has imploded. There is nothing." These aren't vague warnings — they're direct, visceral statements about what your universe actually contains (or doesn't). 📡 Cosmic Event Feed A live transmission feed announces special physics phenomena as you cross them: neutron star conditions, quark-gluon plasma thresholds, white dwarf formation zones, proton decay windows. Rare events arrive with spotlight popups and glowing borders. Common events stack in a live feed. 🏆 Cosmic Challenges A full challenge system with tiered objectives — from Beginner to Expert — tasks you with dialing specific physical outcomes: "Make a star that lasts longer than our Sun," "Create conditions for neutron stars," "Find the edge of atomic stability." Stars are awarded based on how precisely you meet the goal. Progress is saved locally. 📈 Relationship Graphs Interactive line charts visualize how physical properties scale with your constants: star lifetime vs. G, atomic radius vs. ℏ, orbital period vs. G. A dynamic reference line marks your current value, making it immediately obvious when you cross into dangerous territory. 🧬 Universe DNA A visual "signature" panel encodes your universe into three animated bars — one per constant — showing how far you've drifted from reality. Each bar pulses when pushed to extremes, and the signature shifts color based on how habitable your universe is. 💾 Snapshot & Sharing System Save your favorite universe configurations with custom names, view their viability status at a glance, and generate shareable URLs that encode your exact constants. Anyone who opens the link lands directly in your universe — no setup required. 💀 Catastrophe Mode A full-screen cinematic overlay for three extreme scenarios: Gravitational Collapse (black hole with spiraling particles), Hypernova Chain (shockwave explosions), and Vacuum Decay (a bubble of false vacuum consuming reality itself). Each scenario is fully animated on canvas with physics-reactive particle systems. ⏩ Universe Evolution Timeline A scrub-through timeline of cosmic history — from the Big Bang through Inflation, Nucleosynthesis, the Dark Ages, the Stellar Era, and eventual Heat Death — rendered uniquely for your constants. If your universe can't reach a given era, it's marked impossible. The timeline advances automatically, or you can scrub through manually. 📖 What If Stories Contextual narrative cards tell the story of your universe in plain, emotionally resonant language. "In this universe, electrons are so loosely bound that the first atom never formed — and without atoms, there are no molecules, no chemistry, no life." These stories shift as your constants change. 🌈 Cosmic Vibe Mode An optional aesthetic layer renders a procedural canvas ove…
