The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Figma Validator
Figma Validator: check your live UI against the Figma design
Figma Validator is a design QA assistant. It compares a section of your live website with the matching frame in Figma and shows what's visually different: spacing, alignment, size, text, typography and styles. It also tells you what to change.
⚠️ You also need the Figma plugin
This extension works together with the free Figma Validator plugin, which sends the selected Figma frame to the extension.
Install the plugin: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1604167807144854725
🚀 How it works
In Figma, open the Figma Validator plugin and select the frame you want to check.
In Chrome, open the page where that design is implemented.
Click "Pick Area" and select the matching section of the page.
Review Visual QA to see what looks different.
Switch to Dev mode for detailed diagnostics and suggested fixes.
👀 Visual QA
Focuses on what users actually see:
• Spacing and gap differences
• Alignment problems
• Size differences
• Text mismatches
• Typography and style differences
When the tool is confident, it suggests a clear fix, for example:
"Reduce gap from 12px to 8px"
"Set border radius to 4px instead of 0px"
"Set letter spacing to 0px"
🛠 Dev mode
For deeper debugging:
• How each Figma layer is matched to an element on the page, and how confident the match is
• Figma layers with no matching element
• A side-by-side comparison of Figma and browser styles for each element
• Fix guidance for spacing, typography, color, borders and corner radius
🧠 Built for real-world code
The same design can be built with different CSS, so Figma Validator doesn't expect a one-to-one copy of your Figma layers:
• It matches Figma layers to page elements by likelihood, so wrapper layers and a different structure in code don't break the comparison
• Padding in Figma counts as a match for margin in code when the result looks the same
• Borders and corner radius are checked per side and per corner
• Typography is checked on every matched element, including frames that wrap text
💡 What it is, and what it isn't
It isn't a CSS inspector, a raw DOM diff or a pixel-perfect auto-fixer.
It is a visual-first QA assistant that helps you find design drift fast and fix it confidently.
🎯 Made for
• Frontend developers and UI engineers
• Designers reviewing implementation
• Teams doing design QA before release
🆕 What's new in v1.4.0
More accurate style comparison: no more false border and radius reports from Figma's default values, padding and margin recognized as equivalent, per-side border checks, and typography checked on all matched elements.
