Fakee — Fake Job & Internship Detector

Fakee investigates a job or internship posting for scam signals — and shows its work. Paste a job message, offer letter or description. Fakee runs the searches and reads the result pages in your own browser, checks the domain's infrastructure (registration records, DNS, HTTPS), and returns a verdict with the evidence behind it. An evidence-based look, not a black box: • A deterministic rule engine produces the score — the model reads and summarises, it does not decide. • Every point is attributed to a named pattern with its severity and the text or source that triggered it. • It tells you what it verified, what it could not, and says "not enough evidence" instead of guessing. • 29 scam patterns across money, contact channel, sensitive-data, opportunity and domain signals. Your search runs on your machine: • Searches and page reads happen in your browser, not on a server's search quota. • Only the captured page text is sent to the backend for analysis. • Running a check stores nothing. A company record is only written if you explicitly report a posting. • No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising. Signals are advisory. Always verify an employer through a channel you initiate yourself, and never pay for a job, internship or "training".
