The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Facebook™ Reels for PC
Facebook™ Reels for PC
Watch short videos in Chrome's side panel while keeping your current page in view. This browser extension brings a vertical viewing layout, handy playback controls and a convenient way to join conversations from your computer.
Features
- Move between videos with the mouse wheel or ↑ and ↓ keys, with a vertical slide effect.
- Turn sound on or off, adjust the volume and choose whether to advance automatically when each video ends.
- Read comments, reply and like videos, comments and replies right in the panel.
- Post text or attach PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF images up to 4 MB to comments and replies.
- Copy a Reel's link or open the original post.
Getting started
1. Install the extension. Open Chrome's Extensions menu using the puzzle-piece icon and pin it to the toolbar.
2. Click its icon to open the popup. Select "Open Reels" to show the side panel.
3. If prompted, click "Log in to Facebook" and sign in in the tab that opens. Enter your password only on the website.
4. Once the first video appears, use ↑, ↓ or the mouse wheel. The initial guide disappears after that first interaction.
5. Open the popup again to change "Sound", "Volume" and "Auto-advance". You can also close the panel, leave a review or support the project with an optional donation.
6. To join the conversation, open "Comments". Write and press send; choose "Reply" to respond or the image button to attach a photo. Enter sends and Shift+Enter adds a line.
Keep a Facebook tab open in the same Chrome profile; it can stay in the background. Your preferences are saved locally, and the extension does not copy or store passwords, cookies or session tokens.
