Facebook Reel Rotation Lightbox

Hi everyone. I created this extension because there were too many awesome reels that I couldn't watch on my desktop monitor because they were all posted vertically for mobile users which meant that desktop users couldn't watch them - plus, I couldn't find an extension that would let me rotate them so I could watch them on my desktop monitor, so I decided to create my own. While this extension is still somewhat limited by the confines of the native player, I recommend rotating left and hitting fullscreen to get the maximum viewing benefit from this extension. This Facebook Reel Rotation Lightbox extension rotates vertical Facebook Reels to landscape for a proper viewing experience on your desktop monitor. --------------------------------------------------------------------- What's New in Version 1.3.1 - Renamed the hover button from "Rotate view" to "Open viewer" to better reflect everything it opens up (rotation, zoom, pan, sizing, fullscreen) - The hover button now fades to semi-transparent when you're not actively using it, and brightens back up when your cursor is near it — so it stays out of the way while you watch, but is right there when you need it - Added zoom & pan — scroll or use the +/− buttons to zoom in, then pan around with the arrow keys to get a closer look at details Added a Reset button/shortcut (R) to instantly return rotation, zoom, and pan to their defaults ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Features: 🔄 One-click rotation for portrait Reels 🔍 Zoom & pan — scroll to zoom in on details, then use the arrow keys to pan around the frame 📐 Fit / Wide / Full size presets 🖥️ True fullscreen support ⌨️ Full keyboard control: Alt+L to open, J/K to skip between Reels, Space to play/pause, +/− to zoom, arrow keys to pan when zoomed, R to reset the view, W to cycle sizes, F for fullscreen, Esc to close ⚙️ Per-site settings saved automatically — set it once and it stays your way 🎛️ Toolbar popup for quick access to all preferences -------------------------------------------------------------------- No accounts, no tracking, no nonsense — your preferences are stored locally via Chrome's sync storage and never leave your browser. Thanks for downloading and just giving this a try - if you want to leave a review or just say hi, I appreciate you in taking the time, otherwise I hope you find this useful.
