Highlight anything on a web page, such as a legal clause, a medical term, a piece of code or a dense paragraph, then right-click and choose "Explain this with Claude". A small pop-up appears next to your selection with a clear, simple explanation written by Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. HOW IT WORKS Add your Claude API key once in the extension settings. Highlight text on any website. Right-click and choose "Explain this with Claude". Read the explanation, then close the pop-up and keep browsing. WHY YOU WILL LIKE IT • Works on any website. • No account, no sign-up, no subscription. You use your own Claude API key and only pay Anthropic for what you use. • Nothing is sent anywhere except directly from your browser to Anthropic. There is no middle server. • Lightweight and fast. Nothing runs until you ask for an explanation. PRIVACY Your API key is stored locally in your browser and is never shared. The only data sent to Anthropic is the text you choose to highlight. The extension does not collect, store or transmit any other information. REQUIREMENTS A Claude API key from Anthropic (console.anthropic.com). Usage is billed by Anthropic at their standard rates.
