Explain This BETA

Explain This helps you understand specialist terminology while you browse the web. Select a term on a webpage to get a concise explanation based on the context in which it appears. You can also enable automatic highlights in the extension’s settings to identify relevant technical and specialist terms as you browse. Automatic highlights are Off by default, so you choose when to use them. Save useful terms to your personal vocabulary, creating your own collection of concepts to revisit and learn. Explain This uses cached explanations where available and can use on-device or cloud-based AI to generate context-aware explanations when needed. If it cannot produce a reliable explanation, it will tell you rather than present a guess as fact. BETA: Explain This is currently in development and is being released for testing. Features and terminology coverage may change as the extension develops. More detailed explanations, further-reading resources and additional learning tools are planned for future updates.
