Event → Task

Event → Task adds two items to Google Calendar's menus: Convert to task and Copy to task. Right-click an event, or open it and click ⋮, and it becomes a Google Task at the same date and time. The location, video-call link and description go into the task's notes. Convert deletes the original event; Copy keeps it. Changed your mind? On a task, the same menus offer Convert to event and Copy to event. WHAT IT DOES • Works on any event: single, recurring (just that occurrence) or all-day • Sets the task's time automatically (Google's Tasks API only stores dates, so Event → Task fills in Calendar's own task editor for you) • Choose which task list new tasks go to • Asks before cancelling a meeting you organized that has guests • Works with Calendar in any language PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No servers: your calendar data goes only between your browser and Google • Only touches the event or task you choose • No ads, no tracking, no analytics PRICING • 5 free conversions to try it • Then a one-time payment of $4.99 for unlimited use.
