Event Stay Locator

Stop switching tabs to check distances! Instantly see the walking distance to your event directly on Booking.com. Planning a trip for a Marathon, Concert, or Business Expo? Finding the right hotel is hard when you don't know exactly how far it is from the venue. Event Stay Locator solves this by injecting a logistics dashboard directly into Booking.com hotel cards. 🚀 WHY INSTALL THIS EXTENSION? 🏃 For Runners: Don't be late to the start line! We provide distinct Start and Finish locations for Major Marathons (Boston, NYC, London, etc.). Choose a hotel near the start to sleep in, or near the finish for a quick recovery. 🏟️ For Fans: Going to a concert at Wembley or The Sphere? See which hotels are within walking distance to avoid post-event taxi chaos. 💼 For Business: Attending CES or Web Summit? Find hotels near the expo center to save commute time. ✨ KEY FEATURES: Works Exclusively on Booking.com: Seamlessly integrates into Search Results and Hotel Detail pages. Real Walking Distances: Uses a smart "Detour Factor" to estimate real walking time, not just straight-line distance. One-Click Navigation: Includes a direct link to Google Maps transit directions for every hotel. Custom Locations: Going somewhere else? Add ANY custom address (e.g., a specific office or wedding venue), and we'll calculate distances for it. Smart Filtering: Easily filter events by Running, Arenas, or Business. 🔒 PRIVACY FIRST (Local-First Architecture): We respect your privacy. Your search preferences and custom locations are stored locally on your device. We do not track your browsing history. We do not operate a remote server to store your data. Supported Events (The Golden List): Includes pre-loaded coordinates for World Marathon Majors (Berlin, Chicago, NYC, Boston, London, Tokyo, Sydney), major Half Marathons, global arenas (O2, MSG, Allianz Arena), and top business venues (CES, MWC, Web Summit). Note: This extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Booking.com. Update 1.1.0: Added support for Curated Location Packs via Lemon Squeezy.
