About Email Elysium — Gmail Folders & Auto-Sort Rules

Email Elysium gives you a real nested folder tree: folders inside folders, subfolders, colors, and unread counts, plus auto-sort rules that file every new email automatically. It all runs locally on your device, with no Gmail permission, no Google sign-in, and nothing to grant. It's built for anyone drowning in a flat inbox: freelancers, founders, and anyone juggling dozens of threads a day who wants to organize Gmail the way a file system works, without installing something that reads their mail on someone else's server. GMAIL FOLDERS AND NESTED LABELS • Real nested folders inside Gmail, with smart folders, colors, and unread counts • Auto-sort rules you build in seconds, plus rules suggested from your own inbox patterns • A collapsible sidebar that tucks out of your way and expands on hover • Folder pills on every email row, so you can see where everything lives at a glance INBOX ANALYTICS, COMPUTED ON YOUR DEVICE • Contribution-style activity grid: spot your noisy hours instantly • Volume, reply latency, unread aging, and unsubscribe candidates, all computed on your device PERMISSIONS, AND WHY EACH ONE IS NEEDED • No Gmail permission at all. As of 2.0 we ask for no Gmail scope, show no consent screen, and hold no Google credential. The extension reads the message list Gmail has already rendered in your own tab and sorts it locally. There is nothing to grant and nothing to revoke. • Storage: saves your folders, rules, and cached email metadata on your device, so sorting works offline and survives a browser restart. • Alarms: wakes the extension every few minutes for Premium license and server-feature checks. It does nothing in the background otherwise. • mail.google.com: the page the sidebar is added to. This is the only Google host involved, and we only read what it has already drawn. No API calls. • extensionpay.com: only contacted if you click "Upgrade" or "Restore purchase." A free install that never clicks those makes zero requests to it. It handles payment; we never see card details. • Our backend (a Cloudflare Worker): only contacted if you are on Premium and explicitly opt in to one of two optional server-backed features (open tracking, meeting scheduling). Off by default; turning a feature off stops all associated traffic immediately. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT • No email content, subject lines, or attachments ever leave your browser • No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of you • No fingerprinting, no ad identifiers, no third-party trackers • No selling, sharing, or transferring of any data • There is no Elysium server for the free tier, so there's nothing to breach or subpoena, because nothing is sent • Wipe all local data with one click, any time. There is no Google access to revoke PRICING Folders, rules, suggestions, and the analytics dashboard are free: no trial, no caps, no catch. An optional Premium subscription ($4/mo or $40/yr) unlocks a living network graph of your senders, domains, and folders. Premium also adds the two opt-in, off-by-default features (open tracking, meeting scheduling), the only things that ever talk to our server. Full details are in the privacy policy. Upgrade from the extension popup whenever you want it: no signup step and nothing to re-install. No Gmail permission · No data leaves your browser.
