The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Echo360 Speed Control - Faster Lectures

Most Australian universities (and many worldwide) use Echo360 for lecture recordings. Echo's strict restrictions were blocking the usual speed control browser extensions, so I made one to let me exceed 2x speed. Hope you find it useful! Open sourced on GitHub if you want to contribute: https://github.com/WeiChongDevelops/echo360-speed-control If you have a feature suggestion or bug report, reach out: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wei-chong/ -- TWO WAYS TO USE: ⏯️ Method 1: Player Menu 1. Click the green playback speed button on the Echo360 player 2. Choose from extended speeds, up to 4x if your IQ is four digits (I find 2.25x/2.5x to be the sweet spot, but it depends on the lecturer and topic of discussion) 🧩 Method 2: Extension Popup 1. Click the extension icon in Chrome's toolbar 2. Use the slider or presets to adjust speed
