EasyKaraoke

Sing along to your favorite songs with just one click! EasyKaraoke is the ultimate tool for all singing and karaoke enthusiasts. By leveraging Google Chrome's native Web Audio API, this extension intercepts the audio stream of your active YouTube tab to surgically attenuate the main (centered) vocals while preserving the full power of the backing instruments, bass, and treble. KEY FEATURES: - Instant Activation: A single, prominent button lets you toggle instantly between the original track and the instrumental version. - Symmetric Dual Processing: An advanced phase-inversion matrix isolates and cancels out vocal frequencies located in the center of the stereo mix. - Precision Notch Filter: A targeted 1500 Hz cleanup filter eliminates leftover vocal resonances and bleeding echoes. - Zero Latency: All audio processing happens locally on your computer in real time, ensuring absolutely no delay or lag. - Privacy-Focused: Your audio streams are processed on the fly in local memory (via an offscreen document) and are never collected or sent to external servers. HOW TO USE IT: 1. Open any music video or clip on YouTube. 2. Click the EasyKaraoke icon in your Chrome toolbar. 3. Press "Activate Karaoke". 4. Start singing! Note: The extension is optimized for standard studio mixes where the lead vocal is positioned dead center in the stereo field (performance may vary on live performances or acoustic acoustic tracks).
