Easy Sniff 3

Easy Sniff turns a browser bug into a reproducible API case and a shareable report — entirely on your machine. WHAT IT DOES • Capture HTTP and WebSocket traffic of a tab you pick: headers, bodies, timing, and WS frames — with filters and search. • Mock and modify: return a 500, rewrite response JSON, delay, block, or change outgoing requests and headers. Rules apply only to the connected tab, and a mock never reaches the server. • Bug Replay: record the tab together with network and console events on one synchronized timeline. Export a ZIP with report.html and the video: the developer opens it, jumps to the red error mark, and sees the request, the exception, and the moment. Nothing to install on their side. • WebSocket scenarios: send a message through the page's socket, inject a synthetic incoming event, or replace future incoming messages. • AI assistant (beta): connect your own model — OpenRouter, Ollama, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Ask "find the failed save request and prepare a 500 mock" and get an editable draft rule. You apply every change yourself; nothing switches on behind your back. Common credentials are redacted from AI context. • QA essentials: cURL import and export, API client with collections and environments, JSON/JWT/Base64/URL decoders, and a Russian/English interface. PRIVACY No backend, no accounts, no analytics. Captured data, recordings, and settings stay in your browser storage until you delete them. AI requests go directly to the provider you configure. Exports contain what you recorded — review them before sharing. HONEST LIMITS Chrome shows a debugging banner while capture is active — that is how deep inspection works. One tab at a time. Easy Sniff is not a system-wide proxy and not a DevTools replacement; use it alongside your existing tools.
