About Dusk – Dark Mode for Every Website

Dusk turns websites dark, in colours that are easy on your eyes at night. • Works on any site. Dusk reads each page's own colours and rewrites them, so text stays readable, buttons keep their meaning, and photos and videos look the way they should. • No white flash. Pages open dark straight away, including sites you've visited before. • Leaves dark sites alone. If a site already has a dark design, Dusk doesn't touch it. • One click to switch off. Turn Dusk off for a site, a single page, or everywhere, from the toolbar icon or with Alt+Shift+D. • Your colours. Pick Dim, True Black, Sepia or Dracula, or make up to eight themes of your own. Watch the page you're on change as you pick colours, with a built-in contrast check. • Per-site colours. Give a single site its own theme. • Match my computer. Optionally follow your system's light or dark setting. • Only where you want it. Run on every site, or only on the sites you pick. Private by design: no account, no analytics, no tracking. Dusk's code cannot make network requests, and your settings stay in your browser.
