About DubbelDutch

DubbelDutch bridges the gap between hearing and understanding Dutch. It adds real-time English translations directly above the native subtitles on NPO.nl and Kijk.nl, letting you learn as you stream your favourite TV shows and movies. Why DubbelDutch? 📖 Contextual Learning: Get instant Dutch-to-English translations while you stream. 📺 Native Integration: Works inside the video player. 🎓 Made for Learners: The perfect tool for expats and students aiming for B1/B2 proficiency. How to Use: 1. Install the extension. 2. Open NPO.nl or Kijk.nl and start any video. 3. Enable the native Dutch subtitles (CC) in the player settings. 4. Learn: The English translation will automatically appear below the original text. ✨ Key Features: • 🚀 Zero Setup: It works instantly as soon as you turn on subtitles. • 🎨 Minimalist: A clean design that doesn't clutter your screen. • 🔒 Private: We don’t track you or keep your history. ⚠️ Note: This extension requires the native Dutch subtitles to be available and turned on for the specific video you are watching.
