Dual Subtitles for YouTube

Show two subtitle tracks at once on the YouTube player — the original captions plus an auto-translation, or any two languages. Learn a language while you watch, or follow videos that have no captions in your native language, without ever switching tracks. FEATURES • Dual display: pick a language for each line independently, or show just one line • Full-sentence captions: automatically merges chopped-up auto-captions into complete sentences • Smart cleanup: removes repeated words, extra spaces, and stray characters • Sound-tag handling: annotations like [Music] and [Applause] can be removed entirely, or kept with the matching word bracketed in the translated line so leaked tags are easy to spot • Subtitle export: save the processed captions as SRT / VTT / TXT files — one language or a bilingual side-by-side version • Fully customizable: font size, independent colors per line, background opacity, position (top / middle / bottom / edge distance) • Instant apply: every setting change takes effect immediately and syncs across devices via your Chrome account • First-run picker lists the languages actually available for the current video; change them anytime from the toolbar icon PRIVACY • No user data collected — no ads, no tracking • No external servers; all caption processing happens inside your browser • Runs only on youtube.com NOTES This extension displays and enhances YouTube's own captions and auto-translations; it does not provide its own translation service. It works on videos that offer captions, and available translation languages depend on each video.
