About Dual Subs for Netflix

Watch Netflix with two subtitle languages on screen at the same time — the language you are learning and your own — and study phrase by phrase. FEATURES • Dual subtitles: any two of the title's subtitle languages, stacked, or split between the top and bottom of the screen. • All the subtitle tracks the title offers, not just the ones in Netflix's menu. • Machine translation of the learning subtitle as a third line. • Aligned lines: the native subtitle shows the sentence that matches the phrase you are hearing. • Phrase navigation: jump to the start of the phrase, to the previous or next one, or pause automatically at the end of each phrase. • Playback speed with a favourite speed, and audio/dub track selection. • Size, colour, outline and position for each line; right-to-left languages rendered correctly. • Interface in 47 languages. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS S settings panel · B/Q rewind · G/E forward · N/A start of phrase · H/D next phrase · X pause at the end of each phrase · V/Z/T hide learning/native/translation · C hide controls · , and . slower/faster · K favourite speed PRIVACY No account, no analytics, no ads. Your settings stay in your browser. Machine translation is off until you turn it on; in Chrome it then runs on your device, and in Firefox, which has no on-device translation, it uses a remote engine that sends the subtitle text to Google Translate. Free, with no ads and no tracking. Donations are welcome but optional, and unlock nothing. Not affiliated with Netflix or Google.
