Downthread — comment exporter for research

Downthread exports comments and replies from Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X posts to CSV or JSON. It records details such as author, time, likes, and reply relationships when the platform provides them. Each export includes a run report showing what was captured and any known gaps. NEW: FACEBOOK BULK EXPORT Paste Facebook post, Reel, or video links into Chrome's side panel. Downthread exports them one at a time and saves a merged CSV or JSON file in Downloads/fb-bulk; Copy report gives a report on every link. Signed-in users can try one batch of up to three links free, with no comment limit. After that trial, bulk export requires the Bulk add-on with an active Premium pass, or Premium + Bulk bought together. SINGLE-POST EXPORT Open a supported post, open the Downthread panel, and start the export. Single-post exports are free up to 200 comments per post, without an account. A Premium pass removes that limit for its stated 30-day or one-year term and never renews itself. YouTube export requires your own YouTube Data API key. ACCURACY AND PRIVACY Downthread exports comments available to your browser session. Platforms may withhold hidden, deleted, restricted, or unloaded comments; incomplete exports are marked partial in the report. Exported comments and bulk links are not uploaded to Downthread. Optional sign-in stores account, pass, and payment records with Supabase, while payments are handled through PayMongo. Downthread does not post, like, or follow on your behalf. Requires Chrome or Edge 116 or later.
