DoVibeCheck

Critics grade it. DoVibeCheck tells you if it's for YOU. DoVibeCheck adds a personal score to Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb and Letterboxd: the chance you'll enjoy a movie or TV show, based on your own ratings, not the crowd's. Love horror and romcoms but can't stand action? It learns that, and the more you rate, the better it gets. New IN 0.3 • Added google sign-in NEW IN 0.2 • Now on IMDb and Letterboxd, as well as Rotten Tomatoes. • One film, one rating: rate it on one site and the others know it too. • Your score on every poster: charts, lists, watchlists, search results and home pages. • "Titles you've viewed" in the toolbar popup: everything you've looked at but haven't rated, sorted by how well it fits you. HOW IT WORKS • Open any movie or TV show on Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb or Letterboxd. Your DoVibeCheck score appears right next to the site's own ratings. • Click it for the full picture: why it fits (or doesn't), how sure it is, and what reviewers praise and criticize. • Rate what you've seen with stars, then tap what worked and what didn't ("Great tension", "Too slow", "Mind-bending"), or type your own. Every rating tunes future scores. • Browsing lists? Posters on home pages, charts, lists, watchlists and search results get your score too, so you can spot your next favorite at a glance. • When DoVibeCheck gets one wrong, tell it why ("Wasn't in the mood", "The audience score misled it") and it adjusts. MADE FOR PEOPLE WITH REAL TASTE • Scores are honest probabilities, with a confidence level. Early on it leans on the audience score, then shifts to your taste as you rate. • Movies and TV shows share one taste profile, across all three sites. • Write a review in your own words and DoVibeCheck turns it into tags that sharpen your scores. Tags are shared anonymously to help everyone. • See your full taste profile, library and how accurate your scores have been at dovibecheck.com. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Works fully without an account. Your ratings stay in your browser. • Optional free account to back up your ratings and write reviews. • No ads based on your data, no selling your data, no tracking. • Only runs on movie and TV pages of rottentomatoes.com, imdb.com and letterboxd.com (plus dovibecheck.com, to sync with your profile). DoVibeCheck is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango, IMDb, Amazon or Letterboxd.
