Dots of Time — Year in Pixels

Dots of Time turns your Chrome new tab into a powerful visual reminder of how much of the year is left. Every single day of 2026 is shown as a colored dot on a calendar grid: 🔴 Red dot = a day that's already gone, never coming back 🟡 Yellow dot (pulsing) = today, your only chance to act 🟢 Dark green dot = a day still ahead, still yours to use As days pass, more dots turn red. The visual is simple but powerful — you can literally see time disappearing. WHY IT WORKS Most countdowns show you a number ("147 days left") and your brain skips over it. Dots of Time shows you the same information as a visual grid, like a year-long contribution graph for your life. You can see the ratio at a glance. You feel time moving. WHAT YOU GET ON EVERY NEW TAB ✓ Full 12-month dot calendar with every day colored by status ✓ Live stats: days gone, days left, percentage of year completed ✓ Today's tasks panel — add up to 10 tasks, check them off, watch them strike through ✓ Customizable focus quote — set your own mantra (e.g., your big goal, a deadline, a personal motto) ✓ All in a single screen — no scrolling, fits any laptop ✓ Clean dark UI, no ads, no clutter PRIVACY FIRST Dots of Time does not collect any data. No tracking, no analytics, no servers. Your tasks and your quote are saved only in your browser's local storage. Nothing leaves your machine. The extension requests zero permissions. BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO BUILD If you're a creator, founder, athlete, student, or anyone working toward a year-defining goal — this extension is a daily reminder to execute. You don't need another to-do app. You need to feel time passing. INSTALL AND OPEN A NEW TAB. THAT'S IT. Made by Krishna (@techcm_)
