All settings, PIN data, recovery code data, custom blocklists, allowlists, unlock timers, and block statistics are stored locally in your browser. The extension does not use external analytics, telemetry, accounts, tracking scripts, or remote user profiling. PIN-PROTECTED CONTROLS Set a 4–6 digit PIN during setup. The PIN is required to temporarily unlock a blocked site, change protection settings, or disable blocking categories. A recovery code is generated during setup in case you forget your PIN. SAFER SEARCH ENFORCEMENT DomainSentry helps apply safer search settings on supported search and video platforms, reducing accidental exposure to explicit content from search results. CUSTOM BLOCK AND ALLOW LISTS Add your own blocked domains for stricter control, or add trusted domains to the allowlist when you need an exception. PRIVATE BROWSING SUPPORT DomainSentry can also protect private browsing windows when the user enables extension access for private browsing in the browser’s extension settings.
