Features: - Smart XPath generation: Prefers test attributes (data-testid, data-test-id, data-test, data-qa, data-cy), then IDs and other descriptive attributes. - Absolute paths: Generate a full path from the document root, with sibling positions, when you need one. - Follow selection: Paths update as you click through the Elements panel. - Query evaluation: Run XPath 1.0 expressions, including node queries and count(), string() and boolean() expressions. - Page highlighting: Matches are outlined with a temporary overlay, so the page's styles are never modified. - Copy and history: Copy the XPath or the result values with one click. The last 20 queries you ran are saved for quick reuse. - Frames and SVG: Works with accessible iframe documents and namespaced SVG elements. DOM Cat has no account, server, or analytics. Your query history is stored locally in your browser. The extension requests only the storage permission for query history and the clipboardWrite permission for the copy buttons.
