The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Dnipro: Profile Checker for LinkedIn
WHO IT IS FOR
Recruiters and sourcers double-checking a candidate. Founders and hiring managers who screen without a talent team. Security and compliance teams at remote-first companies. Sales teams reviewing inbound. Anyone who has ever wondered whether the person on the other side of a message exists.
WHAT IT DOES
Open a LinkedIn profile and Dnipro reads that page, then reports how many of seven checks raised a question. Each check looks for something that turns up often on fabricated profiles. One signal means little. Several together is a pattern worth a second look.
WHAT IT CHECKS
- Account age — how recently this LinkedIn account was created, measured against a reference sample of real profiles
- Profile address — whether a custom profile URL was set, or it still carries the random suffix LinkedIn assigns
- Photo — whether there is a photograph of a person, and when it appeared relative to the account
- Network size — connections and followers relative to the years of experience claimed
- Timeline of tools — technologies named in roles that ended before those technologies were released
- Repeated wording — identical phrases reused across descriptions of different employers
- Social proof — endorsements and recommendations, weighed against how large the network actually is
